At Fab Frocks, we love colour. People walk into our boutique and are always pleased to see a rainbow of evening dresses on our rails rather than rows of dull grey and black. So it was great to see the world’s most famous TV stars embracing colour last night at the 68th Emmy Awards. Of course the men were in black tie but the women set the red carpet alight with fire engine reds, jade greens, cobalt blues and even white featured more than usual.
It’s a fact that everyone can wear red – you’ve just got to find the right shade for you – and ‘Quantico’ star and co-presenter of the Emmys, Priyanka Chopra, stole the show with her gorgeous one-shouldered red number which complemented her dark hair and eyes perfectly.
Of course there are always a fashion faux-pa or two at events like this – amazing isn’t it when you have the best stylists in the world and a choice of dresses from top designers that you go for a gown that demands you team it with down-market black leggings! Actress Sarah Hyland – sack your stylist! But on the whole great to see some of the world’s most beautiful ladies ramping up the fab factor.
